Just found this fun  quiz to tell whether a story has enough conflict!

Loads of fab articles there, including a series by Melissa James I read then lost when her site went down. Can’t think how I didn’t discover this sooner.

    LOL, me too! Once I decide which of these pairs of characters I want to write about, I’m going to spend all weekend getting a good grip on their conflcit. It’s all still waaaaaaay too external for all of them.
