Contest- win LBD books! December 7, 2010

Filed under: Writing and Life — Autumn Macarthur @ 1:24 pm

Thanks to Julie Cohen for blogging this tip- Chick Lit Reviews are running a contest this week with every Little Black Dress book published this year as the prize!

I know “chick lit” is considered a politically incorrect term now, we’re supposed to call it “women’s romantic comedy” or something instead. I have to say, the more OTT versions seem to be just sex, shoes, and shopping, with no emotion, and they leave me cold. But there’s definitely a time to embrace our inner chickiness and just enjoy a fun story. Even better if a skilled author manages to give us a lighthearted romp with real emotional depth too.

LBD usually delivers this, so this is a fabulous prize for a New Year readfest!
